Schlemmer Eule in Trier

Nice place, good food, the service is quick and professional .. Highly recommend for a nice dinner. the only flaw is that they wanted to organize a dinner with several people, we sent a couple of emails, but we did not receive any response.

The "Schlemmereule" offers no frills cuisine at a high level. The dishes, perfectly handcrafted from fresh ingredients, impress with their excellent taste and their appealing and restrained appearance. The offer is very extensive for a restaurant that is decorated with the Michelin plate, so that everyone who is willing to spend a little more for his culinary needs should find something in the menu with 28 items (!). The three-course menu, which you can put together “à la carte” yourself, is available for € 60.00 to € 66.00, although the flat rate is usually, but not always cheaper than the individual prices. With only three invoice items, this can be determined very quickly if you are able to add. Those who value four courses and order an intermediate course quickly reach around € 80.00, which puts you in the one-star range in terms of price. However, from my point of view, this is not to be recommended because here in the region three courses seem to be the measure of all things and the total amount could easily be divided into four to five courses in other areas. The selection of wines by the glass is extremely limited and there is no wine accompaniment to the menu. In addition to a dry and semi-dry Riesling, I was given a Pinot Blanc (0.5l for € 18.50), which I decided on without regrets. All in all, the “Schlemmereule” offers an excellent gastronomic service and can therefore be recommended without reservation. We are very excited. All courses tasted excellent and had that certain sophistication that I expect from such a meal. Service and the interior were also great. I particularly liked the creative ceiling image. We will be back definitely.

Outrageous Suspense ( we waited 1:30 hour and the waitress didn’t seem to care)

As expected, we had a wonderful evening yesterday. The 3-course menu is a really great offer and has convinced us of the quality and the composition of the individual components. Only the risotto could have been a bit "thicker" for us. We also liked wine advice and wine selection, service and ambience very much. We will be back!

Visit on 08/25/20, lunch from the menu of the day: celery soup (excellent in consistency and taste), beef involtini (good cooking point, tender, fresh herbs), rsiotto inedible (at least 5 Wed. too little cooking time, almost a third consisted of Pine nuts - unroasted). Bread and wine were served during a short visit to the toilet - bread plates only came on request, as well as which wine was in the glass. When I recalculated the main course, there was only a short "I'll pass it on", at least the offer after a coffee (although I don't know whether it wasn't included in the menu anyway). At first I had a kind of disco music booming in my ears. The colleague could allegedly not turn it down because it could only be done via the app of an absent colleague. Later she made it herself without help at the box. I found the service of the middle-aged colleague with glasses completely devoid of empathy (to put it kindly). Unfortunately, I cannot share the good recommendations.

Such a nice restaurant, away from the crowd on the main square of Trier, as it is calmly hidden in a sunny courtyard. The wine selection is impressive, as well as the plating of dishes. The waiters were really friendly, and as it was shortly after the restaurants were allowed to serve again post pandemic, everything was ensured to deliver the cleanest service. Last but not least, the playlist chill-lounge was very agreeable in the background. I would really recommend this place!!!

Kudos to the entire team of the gourmet owl. From the reception of the guests through the very attentive service to the quality of the dishes. The lovingly served dishes get all the stars from us. Awesome food quality and hospitality

We had a great evening here in the Schlemmereule! Atmosphere and food were enough to starelokale in southern France. Really first class. Every penny you spend here is worth it! Added to this is relaxed service that sets a pleasant counterpoint. Clear recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to this restaurant yesterday in 30 degree heat and was seated outside in the shade. I had grilled prawns for starters which were cooked to perfection. I then had cod which was extremely succulent. I shared a desert of rhubarb crumble and mango and strawberry sorbet. Really lovely dining experience. Highly recommend.

If you are hungry in Trier go to this restaurant because: Perfect service Perfect quality of food products which are all fresh ( you can taste it) Perfect high professional service This is the place were i will come back to when i am in Trier ( with or without my girlfriend haha .. she loved it as well)

Very nice food indeed. A little on the pricier side, but well worth it.

I like this resto hidden away in plain sight in the city center of Trier. I was never disappointed eating there, and the service is friendly. Today we tried the poke bowl, ans mushroom as starter, followed by veal filet and red beet gnocchi. All was well made and presented. The rosmary and lime sorbet was delicious.
